Our Staff

Donna Roth – President

As inmate chaplain of the Larimer County Jail for over 20 years, Donna spent many hours doing one-on-one counseling including suicide intervention at the request of guards or counseling staff.  She conducted inmate baptisms and oversaw all religious programs including initiating and scheduling special Christian events such as films, concerts and guest speakers.  Donna also served as inmate liaison to the administration, the counseling department, religious volunteers and the Ministers Board.

In the community Donna has served on the Colorado State Department of Corrections Volunteer Advisory Board and Community Resource Council, the Executive Board of Justice Ministries Network and was a member of the Larimer County Offenders Employment Council.  In 1995, she was voted Fort Collins volunteer of the year.

As President of Freedom Fellowship, which she founded in 1989, Donna oversees all volunteer activities including jail services, prison seminars and support groups, attends inmate court sessions for prayer and support, and at times is asked to officiate at inmate and ex-inmate weddings and funerals.  She continues to go into jails and prisons throughout Northern Colorado offering her God-gifted ministry through one-on-one counseling and in group settings.

Pastor Dave Huntwork – Vice President

Pastor Dave is the senior pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Fort Collins. He holds services regularly at the Larimer County Jail and serves on the Ministers Board there.

Chere Meyers – Secretary

Chere has a Master of Music degree and leads the music and schedules guest speakers for Freedom Fellowship Adult Worship Services in addition to her secretarial duties.

Vanita Hawkins – Treasurer

Vanita has been a prison and jail volunteer with Freedom Fellowship for many years.  She is the secretary at Grace Fellowship Church and the Treasurer for Freedom Fellowship.

Helaine Steele – Board Member

Helaine does praise and worship music in the jail and prisons and is a retired Administrative Assistant from CSU.  She also schedules the weekend seminars held in state prisons.

Angel Todorov – Board Member

Angel ministers at Larimer County Detention Center and prisons in Colorado and Wyoming.  He holds a position at Hach Industries.  Angel is a native of Bulgaria.

Rev. William Teaff – Board Member

Pastor Bill is head of Whole Man Ministries, a Biblical counseling ministry and is a frequent teacher at the Adult Worship Services.
